Support Cam & Taylor as they battle in the Teams Challenge and help out Timaru Mental Health Support!!
Canterbury
2 blokes that are often mistaken for a couple but can reiterate the fact enough that they’re simply best mates! 2 blokes that’ll carry each other through an event that they have no business being in!
2 blokes that squirm at the thought of physical activity. Taylor hasn’t ran since since Fairlie primary and Cam still isn’t quite sure what a bike is........
Nevertheless after a 3 minute conversation with Jack (a seasoned veteran at physical activity) it soon became clear that entering a grueling mountainous cardio session would be no harder than pulling the cork out of a central Otago Pinot.
They have acknowledged it’s for a good cause so why not make this event one to remember. Taylor will take on the 18km run, and Cam will take on the 27km MTB. Deciding to enter a day before the race may just show that Jack is a gifted motivational speaker.......
Cam and Taylor are throwing their 25% support behind Timaru Mental Health Support and the wonderful work they do for mental health in construction.
So get donating - every $1 raised over $250 gives a 1 second time advantage, as well as a hand up for our great causes!
The Waimate Rotary Club runs the Whitehorse Challenge, with teams raising funds for local and regional charities, while testing their athletic skills!
This year 75% of funds raised will go towards Sports Waimate, Centrecare Counselling, Waimate School of Music, Waimate Rotary Club, and the Whitehorse MTB Club. 25% of the funds will go to Timaru Mental Health Support
