Support Steven as he takes on the Solo Challenge, pitching himself against the clock for a slice of Big Easy history!

Waimate, Canterbury

Next up competing in the solo challenge is Steven Smit. Describing himself as a full-time farmer / part-time athlete, he spends a lot of his time training by hauling kids through puddles on the farm.

Taking on the "pro's", he brings an eternal optimism to the event (that may wane by the end of the 27km mountainbike....).

He'll be looking for plenty of extra seconds so don't be shy and throw him some coin!!

About us

The Waimate Rotary Club runs the Whitehorse Challenge, with teams raising funds for local and regional charities, while testing their athletic skills!

Use of funds

This year funds raised will go towards Sports Waimate, Centrecare Counselling, Waimate School of Music, Waimate Rotary Club, and the Whitehorse MTB Club.
