Support Dylan and Rebecca in their quest to bring home the Teams Challenge Trophy for Rotary and District 9980!
Canterbury
Waimate Rotarians (and current District 9980 Governing team!) Dylan and Rebecca have stepped up to the plate to enter a team in this years Whitehorse Challenge. Somehow they've managed to fit in some training during the hectic year of visits around the district, so as they put the challenge out to the rest of the clubs there can be no excuses!
The club has entered teams previously but never taken out the honours, so they're hoping that these two can bring it home. Dylan is saddling up for the 27km MTB, and Rebecca is lacing up the shoes for the 18km run. Their fellow Rotarians can give them a big help by donating, as every $1 raised over $250 gives a 1 second time advantage.
This year teams also choose a charity of their choice for 25% of the funds raised. Rebecca has nominated the very fitting shelterbox project (of which she is the current Director of Rotary Engagement).

The Waimate Rotary Club runs the Whitehorse Challenge, with teams raising funds for local and regional charities, while testing their athletic skills!
This year 75% of funds raised will go towards Sports Waimate, Centrecare Counselling, Waimate School of Music, Waimate Rotary Club, and the Whitehorse MTB Club. Dylan & Rebecca have chosen Shelterbox as their charity of choice for the final 25%.
