A sanctuary van

$5,630 of $5,000 goal
Given by 8 generous donors in around 3 months

Can you help the sanctuary to buy a much needed van? Our existing van is aging, and we require a second van to meet our transport needs

Wellington

As more animals arrive at the sanctuary, we need a second van - for tasks such as picking up animal food, transporting smaller animals (to and from the vet etc), and for fetching supplies for repairs and building projects. Our current van is overworked and aging, so we need a second van as a back-up and extra transport as the sanctuary expands. $5,000 will buy us a good condition used van of a suitable size. Can you help us solve our transportaion issues by donating towards a much-needed van?

Black Sheep Animal Sanctuary's involvement (page creator)

The Black Sheep Animal Sanctuary is a safe and sustainable space to rehabilitate and re-home abused, injured, and neglected non-human animals. We are a relatively new sanctuary on 26 acres of land at Otaki Forks, an hour's drive north of Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. The Sanctuary operates according to animal rights principles and promotes animal liberation. Currently the Black Sheep Animal Sanctuary have two experienced and committed caretakers living at the sanctuary and looking after the animals, and Sam is about to join us! We are also supported by an able team of part-time helpers.

About us

The Black Sheep supports animal rights and animal protection, providing a safe haven for over 200 previously abused, injured and neglected animals (pigs, goats, sheep, roosters, cows, horses, ducks, geese, rabbits, turkeys and more) near Ōtaki Forks.
