Whitehorse Challenge - Team Breathe Easy

$550 of $500 goal
Given by 17 generous donors in 8 weeks

Fiona and Ben are competing in the Whitehorse Challenge - Running, Biking, AND raising $500 for their dedicated charity, NOAS!

Canterbury

Fiona and Ben are completing the Whitehorse Challenge, a teams challenge run as part of the Whitehorse Big Easy event. Teams have the dual challenge of splitting a 25km mountainbike and 18km mountain run with a fundraising challenge. Teams are required to raise $500 via this page, that will be distributed by the Waimate Rotary Club.

Fiona and Ben Stratford are stepping up off the couch with the awesome goal of supporting fundraising for the North Otago Asthma Society (NOAS). The NOAS are committed to encouraging better health and wellness by encouraging asthmatic kids to participate in sporting activities. They are currently supporting and sponsoring 10 kids to a term of free swimming lessons. The money raised from this challenge will hopefully allow NOAS to extend this sponsorship to other sporting codes. Team “Breathe Easy” take on this challenge which is out of their comfort zone, recognising this is how many asthmatic kids feel when their asthma is flaring up or not under control. Fiona and Ben last competed in an event together way back in 2007 (the Mototapu MTB), so hopefully it really is just like riding a bike! Show your support for the couple, and the NOAS – all funds raised on this page will be directed to the society to support their goal of supporting asthmatic kids into sport.

Jump on board and support Fiona and Ben, or head on over to www.whitehorsebigeasy.co.nz and enter your own team.
