Lonely Miaow's Rescue Centre

The Lonely Miaow Association is working towards the goal of setting up a dedicated Rescue Centre in order to save more cats and kittens.

Auckland

Lonely Miaow rescues six hundred stray cats and kittens every year, commendable but a drop in the bucket. We would love to rescue more but space, time, and financial constraints prevent this. A dedicated Rescue Centre will help us achieve a happy outcome for even more of Auckland's stray cats and kittens.

Lonely Miaow is entirely volunteer based - our foster homes and rescue volunteers are stretched to the limit and our financial resources are meagre. Fundraising specifically for our future Rescue Centre is vital if we are to achieve our dream of a rescue facility.

Lonely Miaow's involvement (page creator)

The Lonely Miaow Association are an incorporated non-profit volunteer organisation dedicated to the rescue and care of stray and abandoned cats and kittens in the greater Auckland area for over 20 years.

Our rescue method is known as trap-assess-resolve (TAR). We never return a cat back to a situation where it its welfare is not going to be cared for, and we do whatever possible to rehome the cats and kittens we rescue.
