Clarence needs treatment for a bad case of Feline Stomatitis, very red and swollen gums, bad breath and poor teeth.
Nationwide
Clarence has not had a proper loving home and was recently rescued from living in a wild colony. At four years old he is adjusting well to his new life with humans.
Unfortunately, he has a bad case of Feline Stomatitis, very red and swollen gums, bad breath and poor teeth, including a few loose ones. It hasn't affected his appetite much, but it is very important that he gets a dental treatment to clean his teeth and perhaps even extract the loose teeth. This will restore better oral health for him and prevent further infection in his mouth. It may cost around $350 to get this done, plus costs of antibiotics, and most likely a special ongoing diet for Clarence for good oral health, every little bit counts - so please donate and help to make a big difference for this lovely guy.
Rescuing stray and abandoned cats and kittens around the greater Auckland area, caring for them in foster homes, and finding their forever homes.
Clarence's Recovery Plan 21 October 2014
East Coast Bays Vets has recommended ongoing dental care for Clarence at home (hopefully soon at his forever home!). Including brushing of Clarence's chompers, plus feeding a diet designed to prevent buildup of tartar. Clarence is very sweet and rather mischievous young man, and we hope he finds his forever home very very soon!
